"I enjoy my career very much and would recommend it to anyone. What I like best is that there is no average day. Every day is different.
This is a rewarding profession and knowing that you have helped to make a difference in a person's life or in the community is a real achievement. Throughout the past
twenty-eight years, I've been given some wonderful opportunities that have resulted in memories that will last me a lifetime." |

"I can't imagine any other career as fulfilling as law enforcement. I relish solving problems and helping good people when they really need it. I feel like I'm truly making a difference. I still love the rush of responding to an unfolding incident. Being in law enforcement is a great confidence builder, especially for a woman. Our department has been so good to me throughout my career. I don't know of any other Southern California police agency that does a better job of helping their employees balance work and family issues. The Riverside County Sheriff's Department is committed to excellence and I'm so proud to be part of this organization." |

"Having a career as a Riverside County Sheriff's Deputy has many advantages! Besides patrol duty, there are many special assignments and stations to choose from. Working in the Sheriff's Department is fulfilling because of the experience I've gained over the years. Having supportive supervisors and co-workers makes the challenges I face in the field with optimism and positive attitude. Being part of the Riverside County Sheriff's team is rewarding. It is an honor to serve with the men and women who take on each day with a commitment to serve the community." |
