Undersheriff Hill is a twenty-eight year veteran of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, presently overseeing the Corrections Division.

Throughout her stellar career, assignments included Captain and Lieutenant at Court Services in addition to Captain at the Jurupa Valley Station. Preparing for these top ranking law enforcement titles, she served the department as an investigator and deputy.

Undersheriff Hill was the department's first female hostage negotiator and field training officer. She was also instrumental in development of the Sheriff's Enforcement Team (S.E.T.), which is a highly successful enforcement team in Moreno Valley.

Believing that community service extends beyond her duties in the department, Undersheriff Hill serves on numerous boards and committees, which include: Operation Safe House (Board President), Riverside Area Rape Crisis Center Board President), Southern California Jail Managers Association (President) YWCA and Kiwanis of Riverside.

The YWCA honored Undersheriff Hill in 2002 as a "Woman of Achievement" in 2004, by the Inland Empire Magazine as a "Woman Who Makes a Difference" and in 2005 Soroptimist International presented her the "Gold Key" award. She holds a bachelor's degree in business and management.

She is married, the mother of three and grandmother of four.
